| View News Home GRADUATE ADMISSIONS November 5, 2009 Due to the University of California budget crisis, the History of Consciousness Department is not accepting applications or admitting students for the 2010-11 academic year. The department expects this pause in admissions to be for one year only to allow for reorganizing in the context of both planned retirements and also canceled searches in the wake of the budget crisis. We look forward to emerging as strong as ever and encourage you to apply for the 2011-12 application cycle.
