Banu Bargu’s Disembodiment Wins 2025 David Easton Award

Banu Bargu’s Disembodiment: Corporeal Politics of Radical Refusal, published by Oxford University Press in 2024, is the co-winner of this year’s David Easton Award given by the American Political Science Association’s Foundations of Political Theory Section.

The David Easton Award is given for a book, published in the past calendar year, that broadens the horizons of contemporary political science by engaging issues of philosophical significance in political life through any variety of approaches in the social sciences and humanities.
